OUR INSTRUCTORS HAVE A WEALTH OF FLYING EXPERIENCE. MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEY WERE ALL STUDENTS ONCE
Using their experience and passion for teaching, our team will work with you every step of the way. To obtain your Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) students are required to undertake a minimum of Forty-five hours of flying time and a range of flying and written exams are required to be completed. From the very first minute up until the final flight with an examiner we'll lead you through the course, building up your skills to not only pass the test, but more importantly to be a safe and competent pilot.
You DO NOT need any prior flying experience. Everyone starts with the first Trial Lesson, this flight counts as the first flight in your Pilots Logbook and towards your minimum 45 hour requirement. During the first lesson not only will you take control of the aircraft, but you will find out if flying is for you. If you find it is for you, then our instructors will talk you through what is required to begin the course. Because everyone is different, there may be some part of the course that you need more help with than others. We tailor the course to suit you.
Along the way you will be able to learn using the latest General Aviation (GA) technology, as well as the age-old principles of flight. If you've got experience with flight simulators then we'll put that to best use. We have access to the latest flight simulators to teach a variety of different skills and procedures, even when the weather stops us flying.
If you have previously started the course but have not finished, or if you have been learning elsewhere and feel like a change, we can help refresh your skills or help you through the rest of the program. We fly from an airfield where you can spend the maximum time in the air, without the expensive delays on the ground that you may find at other flying schools.
Safety is our number one priority. That's why we're based at an airfield with a CAA Licence and our aircraft are subject to rigorous maintenance and safety checks. From day one we will instil safety into every aspect of the training, and you can be reassured that, at all stages, you're being taught by the very best instructors in the sky.
